About
Blake Klingeman
Pure Energy isn't a product. It's a philosophy built through decades of intentional living, one that has shaped success in nearly every area of my life.
I grew up in a double-wide trailer on a dairy farm in Eastern Washington, sharing a room with my brothers and working the land from a young age. I became a standout high school lineman and earned the opportunity to play football at the University of Washington, but at 315 pounds, I faced my first major challenge: transforming my health and my future.
Through discipline, consistency, and relentless self-belief, I lost more than 120 pounds, went on to run dozens of marathons, earned my Master’s degree, and climbed the corporate ladder to become the CEO of a multinational organization — all while building a strong, full family life grounded in purpose and balance.
I don't know if I've won at everything but I do know the people who win at everything — career, body, marriage, fatherhood — aren't the ones forcing their way through life. They're the ones moving with it. I call this Pure Energy: the practice of staying in motion, always purposeful, always making positive strides.
Think about water. In the rapids it's powerful and relentless. In the pond it's calm and still. But it's always the same water — always moving toward something, never wasted, never stuck. That's Pure Energy. Some seasons of life demand the rapids. Others demand the calm. The skill is knowing which one you're in, and never losing your flow.
I've used this philosophy to build a life I'm proud of: a marriage that's thriving, three kids I'm fully present for, a company I lead, and a sub-3-hour finish at the Boston Marathon to boot. I don't do this alone, but surrounded by friends who push me. Every piece of it runs on the same principle. Stay in motion. Stay purposeful. Be the change-maker in the room.
I never sought to be a coach but naturally it happened through the relationships I built and the burnt-out overachievers who looked across the table and told me they wanted what I have. It was through that discovery that I began to notice more fulfillment through building others up verse personal achievemnts. I built Pure Energy to put a name and a structure down for what I was doing and its purpose has become to find others like me who have just as much to offer, that I can partner with to build better lives. I love working with CEOs who are strong everywhere but feel stuck. Trust me, you don't need someone like me to tell you to grind harder — you've got that handled. You need to learn how to move like water, and we'll do that together.
